HIT: The Second Case
HIT: The Second Case is an Indian Telugu-language mystery thriller film written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The second installment in The HIT Verse, the film stars Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
The film was announced in February 2021 with principal photography commencing in August 2021 in Visakhapatnam. The Second Case was released on 2 December 2022. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics.
Premise
Krishna Dev is a police officer, who is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a woman named Sanjana. Much to KD’s shock, he finds that the serial killer mixed severed multiple body parts of different woman along with Sanjana’s severed head. How does KD nabs the killer and learn about his motives forms the rest of the plot.

HIT: The Second Case was released theatrically on 2 December 2022. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on 29 July 2022. However, Sesh announced that the film was postponed due to the promotional works of his film Major (2022) and the film having production delays.On November 25, The film received an ‘A’ certificate, because of the gruesome nature and use of profanity.
