Abhishek Pathak directorial “Drishyam 2” is winning the hearts of the cinephiles, his film came as a big relief for the industry which was suffering from BO drought after Brahmastra.
Drishyam 2 will complete the 7 days at the box office, today and enter the 100 crores club to become the 4th film for Ajay Devgn to achieve the feat in 1st week after Singham Returns, Golmaal Again, and Tanhaji.

Ajay’s film is having a dream run at the box office and is expected to continue to do so however, it will have to compete with Varun’s Bhediya from Nov 25th onwards. It will be interesting to see how much Bhediya affects the former’s biz as the pre-release buzz for Varun starrer is good.

Ajay’s film earned ₹ 1.67 Cr from the pre-sales for day 7 (Thursday), it sold more than 84k tickets. As per the reports, Drishyam 2 stays stable on Thu as well with a drop of around 9% in earnings.
As per the trade estimations, It collects around ₹ 8.70 Cr on day 7 taking the first-week earnings to over 104 crores, nett domestically. The film is doing very well as far as its box office performance is concerned, it will now target Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s biz of 185.92 crores.
DRISHYAM 2 BOX OFFICE 1ST-WEEK REPORT
Drishyam 2 opened with rave reviews from the critics and took a 2nd best start of 2022 for an outright Hindi film. It minted ₹ 15.38 Cr on the first day (Friday), followed by ₹ 21.59 Cr on day 2 with 40.38% growth, and it again witnessed a growth of 25.85% in earnings for ₹ 27.17 Cr on Sunday.
The total 1st-weekend collection of Ajay starrer stands at ₹ 64.14 Cr. The film has been stable on the weekdays. It accumulated ₹ 11.87 Cr on its first Monday with a regular drop of around 56%. Now with a further 8-12% drop in collections, Drishyam 2 has held well on the weekdays.
It raked in ₹ 10.48 Cr on its first Tue and collected ₹ 9.5 Cr on Wed (day 6). The final day of the 1st week will take the total earnings of the movie to over 100 crores.
