‘This is a victory for you mama’ Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha pens heartfelt note after actress receives Padma Shri
Raveena Tandon was recently conferred with the Padma Shri award. Her daughter Rasha took to social media and penned a heartfelt note.
On April 5, Raveena Tandon was conferred with the Padma Shri award by President Droupadi Murmu. The ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. This wasn’t just a moment of pride for the actress, more so, because she received it in the presence of her children and husband Anil Thadani. After Raveena thanked her parents for it, daughter Rasha penned a heartfelt note for her ‘mama’.
RASHA PENS NOTE FOR RAVEENA TANDON
Raveena Tandon received the prestigious Padma Shri award by President Droupadi Murmu on April 5 in Delhi. She was accompanied by her daughter Rasha, son Ranbir and husband Anil Thadani. After Raveena expressed her happiness on social media, her daughter Rasha penned a strong note for her.
It can be read, “The Padma Shree award, one of the most prestigious awards of the republic of India. What a year this has been for you. You keep saying it’s Nana’s doing, that he’s helping you achieve what you’re achieving, and I don’t doubt that, but it’s also all your hard work. You deserve all the success, love and respect you’re receiving (sic).”
Further adding, “I couldn’t be a prouder daughter, watching you and your work getting honoured in front of the most respected people of our community. This is a victory for you mama. Your humility, grace and kindness inspires Ranbir and I to work harder and to be our best selves. The sky is your limit, can’t wait to see what you do next (sic).”
RAVEENA TANDON GETS PADMA SHRI
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Raveena Tandon said, “It was definitely an emotional moment for me because it was something that my father had dreamt and thought that it is going to be a proud moment (for him) whenever I get the Padma Shri honour.”
The actress also stated, “I did get the honour, but unfortunately, he is not here to see it. So, getting the honour was mixed emotions for me. It came with a bit of happiness and a bit of more happiness. More happiness was when I was thinking about him and saying (to myself) that at least, I fulfilled my dad’s dream.”
RAVEENA TANDON TALKS ABOUT HER CHILDREN
Raveena’s family was there for her when she was honoured with the fourth-highest civilian award. Talking about their presence at the same, Raveena mentioned, “It was very special that my children could see me go and get my Padmashri in front of the nation. And I hope they are proud children today as I’m a proud parent whenever I see them get their top grades or when they get honoured at school. I’m happy that they have always made me proud. I’m happy today, and I think I have made my whole family proud.”
The actress and MM Keeravani were the only two names from the world of films to receive the award this year.
